What is your job title? Financial Analyst.
How long have you worked at Twin hill? 1 ½ Years.
What’s the first thing you do when you get to work? Open up my email and see what I missed.
Coffee or tea? Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon.
Have you read any good books lately? When Breath Becomes Air, It is a memoir of an up and coming surgeon, who was battling stage IV lung cancer. It is a great read with countless life lessons and commentary.
What is your favorite season in Texas? Fall.
How have you progressed since joining Twin Hill? I have progressed a lot, from learning Twin Hill’s systems, learning a little bit of SQL, and improving my Tableau reports!
What are your main responsibilities? My responsibilities include updating weekly sales reports, tracking our travel expenses, analyzing our freight charges, and making sure our bills get paid!
Which part of your job do you enjoy the most? That there is a different challenge every day!
What is the most challenging part of your job? Currently, the most challenging part is taking care of our vendors! Luckily, I have a lot of support from my team, and we are able to make sure all of our vendors are happy.
What’s your favorite sports team? Rockets.
What department is your role under? Finance.
What makes your team different than others? In our team each of us are responsible for different parts of financial reporting. This has created a team where we have a collaborated spirit, ensuring that our reporting is precise. We all have strong opinions creating accountability and team trust. This has all helped with our departmental success.
How would you describe your team in three words? Supportive, Engaging, and Motivated.
Outside of work, do you have any hobbies or interests? Working on cars.
What has been the highlight of your career at Twin Hill so far? Being on the party planning committee, we just had our 2nd mixer (Hispanic Heritage Month)!
What is one thing that most people do not know about you? That I am a great bartender/cook.
If you could be anywhere (other than the office) right now, where would you be? Having a cold beer on a beach, far away from any Starbucks.
What’s the best vacation spot? 100 Islands, in the Philippines.
What will you do when you get home today? Take my dog to the park!
