Twin Hill is proud to have been awarded the Image of the Year Award® (IOY), in the category of Service & Industry Companies for innovative and employee focused designs in the Huntington Bank 2018 uniform refresh collection. Since 2010, Twin Hill has been partnering with Huntington Bank to provide a career apparel program that is fashionable, functional, professional, and of the highest quality.
Twin Hill partners with Huntington in listening to the voices of their colleagues and aligning those ideas with the Huntington brand philosophy to provide annual refresh offerings to the career apparel program. In 2018, based on wearer feedback, we updated and refreshed the current garment selections through additional fits, colors, and easy to care for fabrics to provide brand consistency among wearers and trendy professional attire to align with the Huntington brand. The design needed to be functional and low maintenance, making it easy for the Huntington colleagues to prepare for his or her workday. Additionally, the garments and accessories within the program were created to be layered, allowing the colleague to adjust to the indoor climate, as needed.
Huntington Bank utilizes their corporate apparel as a strategic brand representation tool to support the colleagues at the retail banking offices to inspire customers to have trust and confidence in the company. Almost every piece within the collection is branded with the iconic, yet simple Huntington honeycomb logo or the Huntington full text logo, as well as the recognizable brand color palette, creating versatility and brand recognition.
Huntington Bank also utilizes line extensions to promote initiatives and its culture. Trendy maternity blouses, expanded ranges of fits and sizes, and philanthropy-focused accessories are examples of items continuously added in the range to enhance the offering for Huntington. In addition, a portion of the Pelotonia branded scarves and tie proceeds go directly to cancer research at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Centers. In partnership, Twin Hill gives a minimum donation per year to the Huntington Pelotonia fundraising program.
Karlin McCorkle, Huntington Bank's Career Apparel Program Manager, says “Huntington and Twin Hill’s synergistic partnership flourishes from the natural flow, from the branch offices thru to the design team, of feedback and ideas. This energy and trust plays a huge part in our mutual success”. This partnership Karlin speaks of enabled our 2018 collection to be received with great enthusiasm by Huntington colleagues, and we can’t wait to see the excitement for the 2019 uniform refresh collection.

Twin Hill is delighted to announce our most recent uniform launch with Nissan. The program provides uniforms for approximately 19,000 employees, including administration and maintenance, as well as assembly, body and paint technicians, across four manufacturing plants: Smyrna, TN, Canton, MS, and two plants in Decherd, TN- Nissan and Infiniti.
Throughout 2018, Twin Hill partnered with Nissan to produce a uniform program that elevated their previous program. This new program launch introduced different fabrications along with updated fits for comfort and durability with line items, such as updated fit performance polos, lighter- weight pants, and lighter-weight t-shirts. The entire uniform program range includes: a variety of male and female polos, unisex t-shirts, male and female work pants and shorts, long sleeve industrial work shirts, and accessories with Nissan and Infiniti branding.
Twin Hill enhanced Nissan’s uniform process by tailoring a website, something they hadn’t been provided before, to Nissan’s needs. This uniform website is utilized by Nissan’s administrators, creating efficiency and ease of ordering for employees at each location.
To ensure each Nissan employee had the proper fit for comfort and movability, Twin Hill held on-site fittings for one week at the Smyrna plant in late November. In addition, fit lines were sent to all locations as employees were encouraged to try on the garments before placing their orders.
Twin Hill is excited to have the Nissan program officially launched and to be behind Nissan employees loving the way they look and feel throughout their work day.
It’s a new year, and a new suit is ready for launch! Twin Hill was honored to set up a booth fully staffed of Twin Hill employees ready to fit 6,500 Mary Kay Independent Sales Directors and Directors-In-Qualification. The ladies really loved the pearl detail that this suit features as well as the brightly colored blouses that elevate the entire look. The Independent Sales Directors will begin wearing this suit in July at their annual Seminar event held in Dallas, TX.
New Hertz uniform program creates excitement among employees across the globe
For each new program launch, Twin Hill dedicates a team of employees to be posted at selected roll out locations. This team is on standby to ensure the roll out goes smoothly and to assist with any complications if they should arise.
The Twin Hill team partnered with Dimensions, our sister company within our Corporate Apparel Group, to roll out the new Hertz uniforms to 160 international corporate locations and 360 North America locations. For North America, the program was rolled out to corporate locations, and Twin Hill is working to roll out to franchisees in October of 2018. Internationally, Dimensions has rolled out to corporate locations and is currently working to ship to franchisees in Dubai, Poland, Norway, and Ireland.
At the roll out locations, employees were ecstatic to be rid of the pit crew look and to have new elevated uniforms. Not only do the Twin Hill uniforms give confidence to the wearers, they also feature innovative designs that were implemented as results of wear testing. These features include: breathable gussets in the underarms to allow air flow, deeper pockets in the outdoor pants for holding large devices, and most importantly, larger reflective strips for added employee safety.
Congratulations on your new uniforms Hertz, and thank you for choosing Twin Hill!

Congratulations to the teams at Twin Hill and Dimensions!
On Monday, April 17, McDonald’s U.S.A. launched two new contemporary uniform collections, including Timeless Elements, which was designed by Dimensions’ Senior Designer Bindu Rivas. Twin Hill was awarded the contract to outfit up to 200,000 McDonald’s crew members and managers located in 3,500 restaurants, from Wisconsin down to Texas. They also won an exclusive arrangement to provide all tailored manager suiting for all 14,900 McDonald’s restaurants across the U.S. “It’s a different look and times are changing. I feel refreshed and better about my job. I get a lot of compliments from customers too.” – McDonald’s employee
We sat down with Daryl Stilley, SVP and Managing Director, Lynn Helfrich, Director of Program Management for Twin Hill, and Bindu Rivas, Senior Designer, Dimensions for a Q&A on the win:
Q. Bindu, what inspired you when designing the new uniforms? What are your aspirations for the employees who’ll be wearing them?
We live in a hectic world and time has become a luxury. McDonald’s has embraced this with progressive changes to their brand, including a number of different interior concepts. It was important to create a single collection that complimented each of the different looks. With that in mind, I wanted to create a flexible range with simple garments that were practical, modern and relevant to the McDonald’s brand today, while retaining minimal design and bridging the gap between function and fashion. A collection that would allow easy transition from the restaurant to a social environment and for employees to create their own individual looks with many possible combinations. I hope that the employees who wear the Timeless collection will feel empowered and will benefit from the comfort, fit and functionality of the range and be proud to wear it.
Q. Daryl, how would you describe the teamwork between Twin Hill and Dimensions to win this business?
My counterpart in Dimensions, Hayley Brooks, Managing Director, and I have a very collaborative approach to winning international business. Our teams work together to support the greater goal of expanding our corporate apparel group across the globe. Chris Collopy, VP of Growth at Twin Hill, and Andrew Bacon, Head of Sales at Dimensions, worked hand in hand to deliver a robust offering, stellar presentation, and assembled a great team to represent the corporate apparel group. You will see many more international wins coming from this collaborative approach.
Q. Lynn, once Twin Hill won the business, what has been the most challenging part of launching this program?
McDonald's set an extremely aggressive timeline for this launch. Typically you would have anywhere from 6 – 9 months to prepare for a launch. This was done in 4 months with the added challenges of integrating systems for a universal ordering website, centralized call center, as well as expedited production and delivery of the collections.
Q. Daryl, what haven’t I asked that you’d like to share with the Tailored Brands team?
This win has required all hands on deck in our corporate apparel group. From design and sales, to planning and production, to finance and account setup, the teams have delivered at a non-stop pace with world-class service and integrity that is to be commended. I could not be more proud of these teams and to have partnered with such an iconic brand as McDonald's. This win has put us on the Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) map in the U.S. and I expect many more brands in this industry to follow. The men and women of McDonald's will be lovin’ the way they look!
